Conor McGregor rips Donald Trump over Ronda Rousey comments

For The Win

After Holly Holm destroyed Ronda Rousey at UFC 193, Donald Trump was one of many people to celebrate Rousey’s loss. Trump tweeted after the fight that he was happy Rousey lost her title.

UFC interim light heavyweight champion Conor McGregor is one of the most outspoken fighters in the sport, so when TMZ Sports asked him about Trump’s comments, he didn’t hold back.

Via Rolling Stone:

“It’s easy for someone that’s not in there to comment, but it’s different when you’re in there. The emotions are high. It is what it is. You either want to touch gloves or you don’t. That means nothing, so Donald can shut his big, fat mouth. I don’t give a [expletive] about Donald Trump.”

Alman on Rockhold vs. Weidman

Chris Weidman takes on what could be the toughest test of his title reign when he faces Luke Rockhold.

Weidman defeat former UFC champions, but now he takes on a former Strikeforce titleholder. In the other corner, Rockhold is riding a four-fight winning streak that includes finishes over Lyoto Machida and Michael Bisping. Like every good title fight there’s some bad blood between the two.

Although most of the attention will be focused on the fight between Jose Aldo and Conor McGregor, I think Weidman vs. Rockhold could be “Fight of the Night.” Both fighters are pretty well rounded and have fought some tough competition.

Weidman has gained a lot of momentum since he defeated Anderson Silva to win the middleweight title. Losing to Rockhold could easily take that away.

My thought is this fight will go the distance with Weidman coming out on top. He’s got a good ground…
