Former UFC Star Shayna Baszler Made Her Pro Wrestling Debut This Weekend

When Shayna “Queen of Spades” Baszler got cut from the UFC back in March, it could have been pretty easy for her to start fading away. Fortunately, that’s not her style. Baszler, who you may know alongside Ronda Rousey, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir as the Four Horsewomen of mixed martial arts, has now started mixing it up in the world of pro wrestling, and it looks like she’s taking it pretty seriously. Among the Horsewomen, I think Baszler is probably neck-and-neck with Ronda in the Unashamed Wrestling Fandom category. She’s been known to drop a Paul Heyman impression here and there, and she’s already appeared for Ring of Honor as a manager for reDRagon.

All of this finally culminated in Baszler’s first match this past weekend for Quintessential Pro Wrestling in Reno, Nevada. Queen of Spades ring gear is in full effect, naturally.
